REPTILE THERMOMETER/HYGROMETER

One of the most simplest of tools in keeping reptiles in captivity is also one of the most important tools. Unfortunately, it’s often a tool that gets ignored. One should never guess when it comes to providing proper temps for your animals, as that is a sure way to cause unintentional harm.

Lugarti's Digital Thermometer/Hygrometer allows you to accurately monitor your reptile's temperature and humidity with a single, open-ended probe and a high quality touchscreen interface.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Turn On/Off with toggle switch, located on back of thermometer, under the kickstand.

  2. Set Fahrenheit or Celsius by tapping [°C/°F].

  3. Toggle between displaying Temperature, Humidity, or Auto-switching by tapping [MODE].

  4. To clear the current MAX and MIN recordings, tap [CLR].

  5. To set HI and LOW Alerts, press and hold [SET], then tap [MODE] to activate the MAX setting area. Tap [°C/°F] to decrease the number and tap [CLR] to increase the number. Tap [SET] when you have determined your desired parameter.

  6. To remove set alarm settings, press and hold [SET], then tap [MODE] to activate the MAX setting area. Tap [MODE] again to clear the setting, and then tap [SET] to save the new setting.

  7. To turn off an alarm, tap [CLR].

TROUBLESHOOTING:

  • Touchscreen display will not work with fingernails. You must use your actual finger.

  • If the system is not responding, wait 10 seconds without pressing anything and try again.

  • If you experience any other issues, reboot the system by turning it off then on again.

  • Thermometer is not waterproof. Keep the display away from moisture.

  • If the display seems dim, replace the battery.

  • To avoid damage, do not drop.
